As part of our school’s new Wellness Committee "Move More Initiative," middle school and high school students are encouraged to make the most of their lunch period by dedicating the last 10 minutes to walking laps. This simple yet impactful activity promotes physical health, helps students clear their minds, and provides an energy boost for the remainder of the day.
Walking is a great way to stay active without intense effort, and incorporating it into the lunch break ensures students are balancing their mental focus with physical movement. Whether walking solo or with friends, it’s a perfect opportunity to stretch, socialize, and support overall wellness.
We’re excited to see students embracing this positive habit and making our school community healthier, one step at a time!
