Ag in the Classroom was a hit with the 3rd grade. They enjoyed learning the process of milk from cow to store. And they experienced "milking" a cow. Thanks Carter and Riley!

The third graders enjoyed a Sock Hop celebration to read their opinion essays to the class. Ice cream treats were an added bonus!

Anatomy is learning about the nervous system!!! Check out their nerves!!!

Thank you to My Place Café for their generous monetary and supply donation to our school district. Your kindness and generosity is greatly appreciated!

Congrats to the members of the 2022-23 Big East All-Conference Wrestling Team!

The MCM Boys Basketball team will play in the 1st Round of the Region 3A Tournament at West Central on Tuesday, February 28 with tip-off at 7:00pm.

This week is National FFA week. Riley and Carter came to our classroom and taught us all about milk. (From Cow to Carton) The kids loved learning about what goes into getting milk to drink. They had the opportunity to practice milking a cow, using a rubber glove and water! It was so fun!

We had a GREAT time doing a mystery state with another 2nd grade class from Illinois! Neither classes knew where the other class was from. Each student had a map and would take turns asking yes or no questions and crossing things off their map in order to narrow it down. We then took some time to visit with them about their school and state. It was so much fun!!

Ashley Erickson is a dental hygienist. Since February is dental health month she came in to teach us about dental health. The kids loved the science experiment and learning about how to keep their teeth healthy and clean! They even got to practice brushing the monsters teeth!!

There will be a State Wrestling Send Off on Tuesday at 8:30am at McCook Central. A Welcome Home is planned for Sunday at 4:30pm in Montrose.
