Congratulations to the following MCM Wrestlers that have qualified for the State Tournament. Montrose FFA Pancake Feed is Sunday, February 25, 8am-12pm.

Mari and Lillian represented Montrose at the 2024 Elementary Festival Honor Choir in Brookings on February 8th. These students were selected out of over 700 auditions to be apart of this years choir. We are so proud of them and the concert was wonderful!

The Government class took a trip to Pierre today to visit the Capitol. We were able to meet and have a discussion with two of our District Representatives, Drew Peterson and Kyle Schoenfish. We were also able to meet and have a brief conversation with Governor Noem and Lt. Governor Rhoden.

Tomorrow (Thursday, February 8th) is the last day to tun order forms in! Orders will not be accepted after tomorrow in order to guarantee the purchase of supplies.

There will be a HS Baseball meeting for anyone interested in playing HS Baseball this Spring on Sunday, February 4th at 4:00pm in the McCook Central PAC. This invite is open to all 8th through 12th grade students.

A reminder for upcoming basketball Senior Nights. Boys Senior Night will be Tuesday, Jan 30 at the doubleheader against Parkston. Girls Senior Night will be Thursday, Feb 15 at the game against Madison.

Matchups for the DWU Classic at the Corn Palace have been announced. On Friday, Feb 9 our Girls will play Viborg-Hurley at 1pm. On Saturday, Feb 10 our Boys will play Corsica-Stickney at 9am.

Plant Science has been learning about flowers. They created and labeled models then dissected flowers to learn more about the parts.
